LPUMC Snow Plans

1.  LPUMC is closed for Saturday February 6^th.  All church related activities are canceled.

2.  The luncheon that was to take place after worship on February 7^th has been canceled and will be rescheduled for another date.

3.  During Saturday February 6^th a decision will be made as to whether to cancel all Sunday activities including worship.  This information will be posted no later than 6:00 p.m.

4.  If the parking lot is clear and it is safe to travel, we will have a single combined worship service at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday February 7^th.  There will be no Church School, Early Morning Worship, nor Mid-Morning Worship.  Note:  It is possible that worship could still be canceled as late as Sunday morning if conditions warrant.

5.  If worship is canceled on Sunday, we will plan to hold worship on Monday February 8^th at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

6.  If St. Mary’s County Public Schools are closed on Monday, then we will worship together on Tuesday February 9^th at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

7.  If conditions are still not favorable on Tuesday February 9^th, we will cancel worship until the following Sunday February 14^th.

 Announcements, regarding LPUMC worship and activities, will be made via the prayer tree, LPUMC website (www.lpumchurch.org), Facebook (“LPUMC Attendees and Friends” group), and the weather recording on the church phone system (301.863.8500 option “3#”).  This information will be updated as decisions are being made.  Please help to spread this information to our congregation.
