Worship Times
Sunday Traditional Worship: 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. in main Sanctuary
- Children's Church is offered at 11:00 a.m. in a separate area during the sermon time (not offered at 8 a.m.)
- Play Area is offered at rear of sanctuary for younger children to use during the services (requires parental supervision).
- Activity Bags for children to use in the pews are available at all services.
Sunday Contemporary Worship: 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall
- Graded Sun. School Classes for Children & Youth, 3 yrs thru thru High School, offered at 9:30 a.m..
- Play Area at rear of worship space for younger children to use during the service (requires parental supervision).
- Activity Bags for children to use in the pews are available at all services.
Nursery Update
Our Sunday Nursery for our youngest children is temporarily closed for Reassessment & Staff Realignment. But we're working to make it the best it can be for the youngest among us.
Sunday School Classes
We offer age-level Christian Education opportunities for ages 3 through Senior High, during 9:30 hour only.
Children & youth share in the opening portion of our 9:30 a.m. worship service, and then move to their classrooms for learning activities.
Adult Sunday School classes meet in the chapel and/or the library at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Location
Lexington Park UMC is located one block west from the main gate (Gate #2) of Patuxent River Naval Base on Great Mills Road. Coming from the base the church is the large brick building on your left. (Requires a U-turn at the stoplight.)
